We caught up with Assistant Manager Andy Seed following Saturday’s defeat to Ossett to discuss the game and look forward to tonight’s clash away at Pickering Town.
Saturday saw a tough start, how did you see the game?
Very tough, I think there’s lots of positives to come from the game though. We were on top 70% of the game, we just need to concentrate more to ensure we aren’t getting punished on the break.
As you mentioned there are positives to take despite defeat, what will you be looking for as improvements tonight?
I don’t think there is too much needed, like I said we just need to be a bit wiser as a unit. Individually we have a good squad, but we need to make sure that we keep composure and defend smarter.
How important is it to not get bogged down after an opening day loss?
There’s no reason to get too down over it. We are still settling in as a team and we get the chance to rectify this tonight and us and the lads are confident that we can do that.
