It is FA Cup weekend for The Colls this weekend, as we travel West to Barnoldswick Town for this First Qualifying Round tie. Our hosts beat Ramsbottom United and Runcorn Town in the previous rounds. As well as impressive victories in the cup they have also had a great start in the league, only falling to defeat to Macclesfield FC in a close game.
Ponte are on the back of a tough run of results in the league, but will look to put that behind them in the cup. We defeated Goole AFC in the previous round with a 1-0 win away from home, Vaughan Redford scoring the only goal of the game.
Barnoldswick Town play their league games in the North West Counties Football League, they are currently in the Premier Division that includes Bury AFC and the aforementioned Macclesfield FC.
