Pontefract Collieries have been handed a West Yorkshire Derby in the final qualifying round of the FA Cup. FC Halifax Town are currently sat 5th in the National League and are pushing for promotion to the Football League.
The Collieries sealed their place in the fourth qualifying round with a club record FA Cup win (6-0) over Handsworth FC in the last round. They now face a much stiffer test against a team three divisions above Pontefract.
A season high crowd were in attendance against Handsworth and we can expect a big crowd for the tie against the team down the M62 from us. A massive tie for the club and the lads who have performed so well to get us this far.
All information regarding the tie will follow in due course.

Hi,
I was wondering if tickets would only be made available to buy in person or if there would be online tickets to purchase?
I live in Aberdeen, Scotland and will only arrive in Leeds on the evening of Friday 15th and go through to Ponte on Saturday morning.
Obviously for the Handsworth match it wasn’t a problem as it was just pay at the gate but I’m worried that I might miss out on a ticket for the Halifax match due to my geographical location.
