We caught up with Jack to discuss his recent deal, which will see him remain with The Colls for the 22/23 season. Here’s what he had to say;
Vanny congratulations on your new deal, tell us why you wanted to extend your Ponte stay?
It was a no brainier for me really. This team has only got stronger and stronger throughout this season, which is looking very promising into next season so I had to be a part of it. It’s a great set of lads and management team, which is vital to enjoying your football on the pitch.
It’s been your first year at Ponte, how have you found it so far?
Very enjoyable, I feel like I fit into the style of football the club is trying to impose. The fans are brilliant and they’re there home and away, the support really gives us lads a lift. The group of lads we’ve got here make it really easy for any anyone to feel part of the team.
Finally what are your plans for the rest of the season and looking into the 22/23 season?
It’s pretty simple really, it’s just a case of just trying to get as many wins and points as possible to give us confidence going into next season. We all know we are a lot better than the league position we are in, so it’s a case of putting all the pieces together and finish as high as possible.
