First of all Scott welcome back! It is good to get you confirmed for next season, what made you want to remain at the club for another season?
I think coming into pre-season and speaking to the management staff, they told me they wanted me to stay which is pleasing as a player to hear. Then through training and the games so far the standard has been high, plus the players we have brought back has seen is bring in a lot of quality and more experience.
You’ve played further forward in the friendlies under Rouse, how have you found it so far?
I’ve enjoyed it to be honest, that’s where I see myself playing. Last year through injury and other circumstances I had to play a few different positions, which I don’t mind to be honest. It is what you have to expect in a small squad and I am sure it will be the same this season too.
What are your personal and team goals for the coming season?
A goal for me is to add more numbers to my game with goals and assists. But I think as a team, we are aiming to try but up and around promotion and do as well as we can in the cup competitions.
Finally, do we have a message for the supporters?
They followed us last year when it wasn’t easy to watch, but they still came and backed us. We need the same again this year, they are a massive part of the club and we need them there as our 12th man to get behind us.
